Blizzards again

CNN Breaking News this morning ...blizzards across the Mid-western American states has forced airlines to suspend any flights in the area. Travel waivers on certain days are allowing people to cancel flight reservations or re-direct them to areas not under blizzard alerts, without penalty.

Detroit is one of the cities meant to be affected. Thats our second stop! If the snow continues at its expected 3 inches per hour into next week , getting to our destination will be a little bit more of a bumpy ride.

Temperatures are expected to drop at least 15 degrees below zero (F). For us from sunny SA, and after a healthy sun-tanning mid-summer 35 degree (C) jozi yesterday, brrr is not enough to describe the cold that we will experience. Of coarse i am pre-empting, we're human and we WILL adapt as scary as an approximate 70 degree drop in temperature in less than 24 hours may seem.

I just hope that the snow is forgiving and we dont have to be stranded in the cold in a foreign country at temps below zero.
