Confessions of a Fourth Year

Three weeks into my research project and my vocabulary took a slanderous turn. Four weeks down, and more simulation frustrations with the added assault of an empty belly promted a tinge of guilt everytime a curse slipped. By fifth week nothing could stop the frequent mutterings which affforded me no moral dilemma but rather a vent against the dumb screen. Week six... a week before hand-in, patience has been tried and tested, stretched to fine strands ...mutterrings became prominent, eyes bloodshot, face the painted expression of focussed. The truth lost in panic! Week seven blasted out without heavenly relief but with rollercoasting of profanities and tears, decorated with overflowing rage, disgust, mistrust. The demise of everything; time, Ramadhan , forgiveness, pateince, SANITY!

I offer this experience to all those who dare. Go on, which side of the apple will you bite?
